Potasios Investments
Potasios Investments is part of Grupo Pampa, an investment holding group built primarily around Pampa Investments and its subsidiary Potasios Investments. Grupo Pampa's purpose is to create value for its investors, employees, and society, guided by a team committed to excellence and a long-term perspective.
Potasios Investments is the successor company to Potasios de Chile S.A., following the corporate simplification process through which Grupo Pampa consolidated its transition toward a simpler, more direct, and more efficient structure. This transaction enabled the consolidation of assets and structures into two succeeder companies, simplifying the corporate structure and strengthening the relationship between shareholders and the underlying asset, SQM S.A., Grupo Pampa’s principal and sole investment.
New Structure
This new structure aims to move the Group into a stage of greater agility, focus, and efficiency, with an organization that is clearer to the market and better prepared to capture the long-term opportunities associated with SQM S.A. Within this structure, Pampa Investments consolidates its investment in SQM S.A., both directly and indirectly, through its stake in Potasios Investments.
The simplification process is the result of work that began in 2021, aimed at strengthening the capital structure, reducing debt levels, professionalizing management, and streamlining the relationships among the Group's various legacy companies. This process made it possible to build a stronger foundation for moving toward a renewed structure, with greater visibility for local and international investors.
From its origins in the pampa of northern Chile, Grupo Pampa now takes a long-term view of an asset that is key to the future. Potasios Investments was created to support that vision: a simple, institutional investment vehicle focused on creating sustainable value for its shareholders.
Our Purpose
To invest directly and indirectly in shares of SQM S.A. and to maintain the ability to elect, together with the other companies in the Group, at least three directors of SQM S.A., who are elected by SQM S.A.'s Series A shares.
Our goal is to invest efficiently and with a long-term vision in shares of SQM S.A., bringing our shareholders closer to the future opportunities of an asset that is strategic for Chile and the world.
